Sol Hoopii in Hollywood reissues for the first time all the known groundbreaking  recordings made by Sol in 1925 for the small Californian label Sunset and it sister label Hollywood, including some alternate takes . Originally only distributed locally these are now hard to find recordings and are Sol's earliest.

Seven sides are also included by other Hawaiian bands from the same stable of labels ( Sunset, Hollywood and Silver Screen) ....Coppock's Hawaiians ( see separate page too) , Charles Frederick's Hawaiians and Charles Diamond. Most of these are from extremely rare 78 recordings -in some cases from the only known copy.
